‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘Super Duper Cut!’ available to download August 7

Tomorrow Deadpool 2 is making its digital debut on FandangoNOW, Fandango’s on-demand video streaming service and it will be available for purchase in SD/HD and in 4K UHD. Fans can start streaming this Tuesday.

Here’s what has got me excited. There will be two different versions available: the theatrical version and the Super Duper Cut, featuring 15 minutes of brand-new action and jokes inserted throughout the movie. This brings me back to the days when DVD’s had directors cuts with a smattering of new scenes. Given, this is only 15 minutes across the entire film so chances are there won’t be long new scenes, but here’s hoping.

As a bonus, fans ordering Deadpool 2 on FandangoNOW will receive an exclusive Fandango FanShop poster from Deadpool 2 creator, Rob Liefeld. Take a look at the beauty below.

Extra footage in the Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut will include Wade’s extended stay in the X-Mansion, a cameo by X-Men villain Omega Red and scenes the screenwriters themselves deemed “too risque for the final film version.”
