Today marks the release of The Eternal Palace raid in World of Warcraft, which sees players go toe to toe with Queen Azshara after years of teasing. However, thanks to the cinematic that takes place after the fight, we see that not only is Azshara not actually dead after the encounter, she’s been used as a pawn by the Old God N’Zoth.

The clip, which was captured by a member of the guild <Might> on Zul’jin Horde, shows Azshara being re-animated by N’Zoth after being confronted by Jaina Proudmoore and Lor’themar Theron. The Old God says that “All eyes shall be opened.”
It would appear that, as has been speculated since the expansion’s release, that N’Zoth will ultimately be the final boss of Battle For Azeroth, and that the expansion’s name refers to the fight to keep the Titan and planet itself alive, rather than a mere power struggle between its two largest factions.
The Eternal Palace is available for play today.
