On Wednesday, Netflix released the first official trailer for the second part of Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Let’s allow our eyeballs to bask in its awesomeness before diving into the particulars.
Most of us already knew/assumed He-Man was going to survive getting impaled by the newly minted Skelegod in Episode 5. Also, thanks to a poorly timed toy reveal, we already knew Savage He-Man would be showing up. The fact that Prince Adam can still call upon the power of Grayskull without the Power Sword should make for a fantastic new wrinkle to the series’ mythology.
Despite the wails of MOTU “fans” who don’t know anything about the lore, it looks like Teela will finally learn about her lineage and attempt to fulfill her destiny as the guardian of Castle Grayskull. To do that, she’ll have to take on a powered up Evil-Lyn, who’s taken the Sorceress‘ place and is ready to cause some real havoc.
Meanwhile, all types of classic characters will be joining the fight, including one of my a personal favorites: Ram Man.

He was one of my first action figures…don’t judge.
The end of the trailer strongly hints that Orko will be resurrected, which I’m not sure how to feel about. I’ve never liked the character, but his heroic sacrifice was one of the best moments from the first half of the series.
Whatever the case, we’ll get to find out on November 23 when all five episodes of Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2 are released on Netflix.
