Courtesy of Comixtribe, we have a first look at new series Happy Hill. Launching January 26th, the five-issue series had a successful Kickstarter and will now be available in comic shops across the country. It’s a supernatural vacation thriller and horror action dramedy all in one.
Set in Happy Hill resort writer Richard Douek explains it’s “a place where you can indulge your deepest desires, and leave truly happy. But something sinister lurks behind the beautiful facade – the terrifying urban legend of the Wudsman. A mysterious, horned and masked figure that’s said to stalk the woods, granting even darker desires but extracting a terrible price – one that many guests are more than willing to pay.”

Happy Hill is a posh resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York that promises that its guests will leave truly happy – the only problem being that many of them never leave at all. Wyatt Willows is obsessed with the place, and its connection to The Wudsman – a horned, masked figure that most people think is an urban legend, but who he knows is both real and deadly.
When a child goes missing on the grounds of Happy Hill, the investigation uncovers dark secrets hidden and an unstoppable supernatural menace aiming to make this vacation permanent!
