House of the Dragon launched its first episode last Sunday and certainly eased nervous minds. The show came out swinging, with dragons, plenty of drama, and, in this reviewer’s opinion, great pacing. With episode two only three short days away from airing on Sunday, HBO has released images to satiate our Dragonborn appetite.
Episode two is titled “The Rogue Prince,” and it will air on August 28th, 2022. Directed by Greg Yaitanes and written by Ryan Condal.
Given what we can see in the images, Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) is holding a dragon’s egg. In general, characters look concerned, and King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) is meeting with Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) and Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) for what looks like a big ask on their part of the king.
