Marvel and Pfizer have teamed up for a new COVID-19 vaccine awareness comic called Avengers: Everyday Heroes. Now available to read online in the United States, the comic features the Avengers facing off against Ultron while a group of regular folks awaits their COVID-19 vaccine shot.
You can read it for free here. Pfizer also shared the comic over Twitter late yesterday.
The script is written by Paul Allor with art by Paco Diaz, colors by Chris Sotomayor, and letters by Joe Sabino. The story has a sweet twist, with an older man amongst a family watching the Avengers kick butt and revealing he knows the superheroes. Ultimately it’s a story about doing your part, which is undoubtedly the case when fighting COVID-19.
This isn’t the first time Marvel has helped promote vaccine awareness, as they teamed up with SOMOS to distribute 20,000 comics for vaccine awareness in 2021.

For years, families around the world have cherished reading comic books about the Avengers battling villains to save the world. Marvel’s newest comic book, which is launching as part of a custom collaboration with Pfizer, features a brand-new story where the Avengers battle Ultron, one of their fiercest longtime foes, to save the world, and a family with an unexpected connection unites with their community to help protect themselves.
