New Star Wars Vintage Collection and Black Series figures revealed

If you want a Boba Fett figure, you better be willing to pay the ‘deluxe’ price.

During Thursday’s Hasbro Pulse Premium livestream, Hasbro revealed one new Star Wars Vintage Collection figure and three new entries for the Black Series. All of these figures are currently available for preorder from your preferred online retailers with an expected arrival in August 2023.

Let’s check out the Vintage Collection offering first.

I could have sworn this one was already released, but I guess not. Looks good either way. The figure will retail for $14.99.

Now let’s move onto the Black Series.

Din Djarin (Morak)

Not worth it for me — especially for $24.99. Put that head with the previous Mando release with a removable helmet, however, and I might get one.

Cal Kestis

If you want a figure from the Jedi: Fallen Order video game franchise that costs $24.99 instead of $27.99, then here’s your chance.

“Deluxe” ROTJ Boba Fett

Yes, it’s a nice figure.

Yes, the packaging looks good (if you’re into that sort of thing).

But there is no way that this figure should cost $33.99. The only reason Hasbro set that price point is to stress test the market and see how much they can get away with charging.

Considering the hit Hasbro’s stock took this month due to “increasing price sensitivity for the average consumer,” they should at least try to be less blatant about their price gouging.
