Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to in 2023. The Mandalorian returns with its third season on March 1, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, won’t be far behind.
The game’s Steam page was briefly updated today to show a release date of March 15th, 2023. Industry insider Wario64 was quick to grab screenshots of the listing before it was swiftly changed. Also revealed was cosmetic DLC — branded as a Pre-Purchase bonus — of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s costume from the 2022 Disney+ series. Underneath a “Deluxe Edition” banner was cosmetics of Han Solo’s and Luke Skywalker’s costumes from the original Star Wars film.

After the release date was essentially revealed, EA didn’t confirm it, but did announce that Jedi: Survivor would be making an appearance at The Game Awards this week where its gameplay will be showcased for the first time. It’ll feature a return of the first game’s “cinematic combat system” as well as more Force powers and lightsaber techniques according to the since-altered Steam page.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor drops early 2023 — most likely March 15, let’s be honest — for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’ll take place a few years after Fallen Order, which is easily the best Star Wars video game EA has put out in the past decade.
