#4: Immoral X-Men #1

Fantastic Five: The best comics of the week of February 22, 2023

Immoral X-Men is great reading as it continues the story of the main event book while shining a light on key mutant players. Even in the greatest realities for Mr. Sinister, he seems to lose and be the sore loser he was born to be. A great exploration of X-Men characters in your new favorite alternate reality event.

#3: Nightwing #101

Fantastic Five: The best comics of the week of February 22, 2023

Nightwing #101 is a strong issue that kickstarts the new era for Dick Grayson and the Titans. Both Taylor and Pacat are working their best to bring about some of the most important changes necessary for shaking up the status quo. With spectacular art, both parts of the issue combine to carry the emotional weight necessary to bring the story to life. There is a new era coming for Blüdhaven, and Nightwing fans better get ready for 2023 as things seem to be far from slowing down.

#2: Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise #4

Fantastic Five: The best comics of the week of February 22, 2023

Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise #4 is the perfect finale to a series you probably didn’t know you wanted. It certainly came out of left field for me, though considering Moore also helped bring SIlver Surfer: Black to life, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Come for the incredible pictures, stay for the commentary on faith, existence, consciousness, enlightenment, and loss.

#1: Batman – One Bad Day: Clayface #1

Fantastic Five: The best comics of the week of February 22, 2023

Batman – One Bad Day: Clayface #1 is a striking tale of creative violence and psychological horror. With its art, writing, and colors, this may be the strongest entry in the One Bad Day series yet.
