The Summer of Gaming gave us plenty of excellent video games to look forward to this year and next, but let’s not forget about the games you’ll be playing sooner rather than later. While The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has drawn most everyone’s attention this year, July still has plenty of exciting new releases to play and fall in love with.

Let’s check out what video games are hitting storefronts this week.

Naraka: Bladepoint (7/13)

Platform: PS5

Naraka: Bladepoint makes its way to PS5 this week after having been out on PC for two years and Xbox Series X/S for one. More notable however is the game is going free to play. Players across all platforms will be able to partake in melee-focused free-for-alls with 60 players duking it out to be the last one standing. The 20 million players who previously purchased the game will be gifted a ton of in-game gold as well as cosmetic items.

Exoprimal (7/14)

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Instead of teaming up with your friends to battle zombies or an alien invasion, Exoprimal throws you into the fray against dinosaurs! You’ll equip various mech-suits to take on swarms of dinosaurs while also battling an enemy team who’s also trying to take down the invading dinos. Cross-play is supported, but unfortunately you’ll only be able to party up with people on the same platform family.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals (7/12)

Platforms: Android & iOS via Netflix, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch

After several delays, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals finally releases July 12th, seven and a half years after its predecessor. It’s set five years after the first game and follows a young woman, Riley, returning to her home town to investigate unnatural electromagnetic waves and radio signals. Like the first game, you’ll select dialogue choices and guide Riley’s actions throughout the narratively rich adventure. If you haven’t played the first game, don’t worry: Oxenfree II acts as a standalone story, meaning you have no excuses to not dive in to Lost Signals this week.
