Marvel Comics has released a new teaser revealing the next era of X-Men, which will begin in July 2024. Fans have been wondering when the change would happen after Marvel editor Tom Brevoort signaled he’s taking over as editor of the X-Men line back in August. Now we know, and now we wait for more details to surface!
The teaser is scant on details, although it does say, “From the ashes…the X-Men titles are reborn.” Everyone will immediately think of the Phoenix with that ashes comment, and they could be right. Ever since the X-Men Forever cover was released of Jean Grey laying in blood shaped like the Phoenix, I certainly thought it was a big part of the next era!
Fans will also note the X-Men logo treatment is in the classic style. Curiouser and curiouser!
