The Tales of anthology series from Star Wars has followed known characters from the franchise that were involved with the Jedi and the Empire. The latest season, Tales of the Underworld, dives into the criminal underbelly in the Star Wars Universe.
Tales of the Underworld features two of the galaxy’s most dangerous bounty hunters: Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane. The former tries to leave her dark life behind and start anew. Unfortunately, the former assassin and Sith apprentice must go on the run and, based off of the trailer, might receive her own Padawan. For the latter, Cad Bane confronts an old friend from his past who is now on the other side of the law.
The series is created by Dave Filoni who also serves as the supervising director and executive producer. Other executive producers include Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. In addition, Josh Rimes is co-executive producer, Alex Spotswood is the senior producer, and Matt Michnovetz is the writer. The voice cast includes Nika Futterman, Corey Burton, Artt Butler, Lane Factor, AJ LoCascio, Clare Grant, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, and Eric Lopez.
Tales of the Underworld releases May 4 exclusively on Disney+.
