A press release confirmed the resolution of Nintendo Switch 2’s version of the hit Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy, along with several other details. In handheld mode, the game will utilize the device’s 1080p display and render at 1440p resolution when connected to a dock.
The Wizarding World game will also use NVIDIA’s image reconstruction solution, DLSS. The game will be the second one to use DLSS on a Nintendo Switch console, the first one being CD Projekt’s popular action RPG Cyberpunk 2077.
The Hogwarts Legacy deluxe edition is already on its way
Another exciting bit of news is that a Digital Deluxe Edition of the upcoming Switch 2 game is already in the works. The special edition will feature a Dark Arts Pack which includes a Battle Arena, Cosmetic Set and more. Fans can also expect a Thestral Mount to be thrown into the mix.

Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch 2 will launch next month on June 5, 2025.
