Star Wars: Visions is an award-winning animated anthology series that celebrates the mythology of Star Wars through a unique cultural lens of Japanese anime. It will soon return for Volume 3 on October 29, 2025.
Volume 3 will be comprised of nine new shorts from nine different anime studios. They include david production, Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G, Project Studio Q, TRIGGER, WIT STUDIO. Each studio has its own distinct style that demonstrate the creativity and diversity of Japanese animation.
You can catch a glimpse of that diversity and creativity in the new Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 trailer. Regardless of style, they all seem visually stunning and we can’t wait for the stories to be unveiled. There are intense lightsaber duels, exciting firefights, space fighter action, and even Ewoks.
The latest volume is executive produced by James Waugh, Josh Rimes, and Jacqui Lopez. The co-executive producer is Justin Leach, and the producers are Flannery Huntley and Kanako Shirasaki.
The show will be in both Japanese and English. There are some well known names in the English language version including Stephanie Hsu, Kimiko Glenn, Simu Liu, Ronny Chieng, Jodie Turner-Smith, Harvey Guillén, Steve Buscemi, and more.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 premieres October 29 on Disney+.
