PANICK Entertainment has revealed new details for T.A.M.A. #5 — the penultimate issue of its viral virtual-pet horror series — hitting shelves December 24, 2025. Alongside new covers from Ashley Witter, Agnes Garbowska, and Tony Fleecs, the issue will feature a surprise back-up story that introduces readers to a twisted new corner of the PANICK universe.
The short, titled TAMUMU, comes from writer Timmy Heague (Archie vs. Minor Threats) and artist Agnes Garbowska (My Little Pony), and playfully satirizes collectible monster toys with a gory, self-aware edge. “As a blind box collector myself, being able to work that into this universe was so much fun,” Heague said. “I’m so excited for readers to meet Melly and her Tamumu SUPER RARE!”
PANICK CEO and Publisher Kris Longo praised the series’ success: “We could not have predicted how T.A.M.A. captured readers’ imaginations this summer. We’ve only begun exploring the terrifying, hilarious world Adam Schlagman and Doug Pasko created.”
In the main story, as Kit and his friends battle their murderous digital pet, the series takes a shocking turn — teasing that T.A.M.A. will “EVOLVE,” leading into next year’s explosive finale.
The T.A.M.A. #5 lineup includes:
-
Cover A: Ashley Witter
-
Cover B: Agnes Garbowska — a Labubu-inspired homage blending horror and designer-toy culture
-
Retailer Incentive Cover C: Tony Fleecs (1:10 ratio)
According to Schlagman, the TAMUMU short serves as both a wickedly fun detour and a bridge to PANICK’s next horror anthology, COMPANNUAL, launching May 2026. The one-shot will feature stories from fan-favorite creators — and a few surprise guests from the indie and toy design scenes — expanding the world of PANICK’s deadly Companimals.
More details on COMPANNUAL are expected in early 2026.
