DC has announced Supergirl/Blade, the next entry in its digital-first crossover initiative with Marvel, arriving April 8 exclusively on DC GO! Written by CRC Payne with art by Mikel Janín and Hugo Petrus, colors by Marcelo Maiolo, and letters by Pat Brosseau, the vertical-scroll one-shot brings together two iconic heroes in a dimension-hopping thriller. The issue will be free to read for the first 30 days with DC Universe Infinite registration.
The crossover builds on last year’s digital releases, including The Flash/Fantastic Four on DC GO! and Thor/Shazam! on Marvel Unlimited. These projects marked the first original collaborations between DC and Marvel designed specifically for vertical-scroll storytelling. The initiative continues in 2026 with new pairings that highlight each universe’s strengths while exploring unexpected team-ups.
In Supergirl/Blade, Mojo abducts both heroes and forces them into a chaotic vampire romance production where the danger is real. Trapped on a set where the cameras never stop, Supergirl and Blade must fight through waves of enemies, exaggerated drama, and Mojo himself to escape before the story reaches a deadly conclusion. Payne’s script leans into character tension, while Janín and Petrus deliver polished, atmospheric visuals suited to the format.
Launching the same day on Marvel Unlimited, Jeff/Aquaman by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru offers a lighter, action-packed adventure. When a kaiju attacks Coney Island, Jeff the Land Shark teams up with Aquaman to stop the destruction and protect the coast.
Readers can check out Supergirl/Blade on DC GO! starting April 8, with free access available for the first 30 days through DC Universe Infinite registration.
