‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ announces season 4 release date and stop-motion holiday special

Season four of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder arrives July 29 on Disney+ with A Proud Family Wizmas releasing later this year.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is a revival of an early 2000s animated series created by  Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar. Today, Disney announced the show’s return date for the fourth and final season.

The show’s last season releases Wednesday, July 29, on Disney+ ahead of its 25th anniversary. While The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder might be ending, creators Smith and Farquhar are continuing their relationship with Disney Animated Television renewing their overall deal for another year under their production banner BaR Productions. Find the official synopsis of the new season below.

Season four finds the Proud family at a life-changing turning point. Penny Proud is pulled into a series of unexpected adventures that test her courage and identity. With more action-packed, mind-bending and heartfelt twists than ever before, the Prouds face every new challenge head-on, proving that no matter how chaotic life gets, they’re strongest when they face it together.

The show will have some exciting guest stars for the last season. They include Mariah Carey, Romany Malco, Chloe Bailey, Lorraine Toussaint, Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo, Kym Whitley, Dee Nasty, Adele Givens, Ali Wong, JB Smoove and Lashana Lynch, and more.
