Image Comics has unveiled its full lineup for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, giving fans plenty of reasons to visit booth #1915 throughout the convention. The publisher will offer convention-exclusive comics, limited merchandise, creator signings, and a packed slate of panels featuring many of comics’ biggest names.
Among the convention exclusives are first looks at several upcoming Image launches through collectible ashcans, including:
- Hammerfist #1
- Crowbound #1
- The Karman Blade #1
- The Last Driver #1
- Chainkata #1
Fans can also pick up exclusive convention editions of titles such as Red Roots #1, If Destruction Be Our Lot #1, M1: Monster Racing League #1, Odin #1, Youngblood #100, Do A Powerbomb Black and White #1, White Sky #1, D’Orc #1, and Tigress Island #1, along with Image-branded apparel, drinkware, enamel pins, notebooks, and tote bags.
A weekend full of creator panels
Image’s programming begins Thursday with Image Comics: Comics Characters Fans Will Love or Hate—or Love to Hate!, featuring Matthew Rosenberg, Patrick Kindlon, John Layman, Rob Guillory, Tony Fleecs, and Dustin Nguyen discussing memorable comic book characters.
Thursday also includes Robert Kirkman Live!, where Kirkman will share updates on Invincible, Terminal, Void Rivals, and the expanding Energon Universe.
Friday’s lineup features Artists Unleashed, bringing together Daniel Warren Johnson, Skottie Young, Ian Bertram, Caspar Wijngaard, Sanford Greene, and Sean Gordon Murphy to discuss their creative process. Caspar Wijngaard also receives a dedicated spotlight panel before James Tynion IV headlines Frightening and Fantastic Worlds of James Tynion IV, joined by Martin Simmonds, Werther Dell’Edera, and Michael Walsh.
One of the weekend’s biggest events follows Friday afternoon as Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, Marc Silvestri, Robert Kirkman, and Eric Stephenson reunite for Image Comic Legends Together on One Stage, celebrating the publisher’s history and sharing behind-the-scenes stories.
Saturday continues with Storytelling, Genre, and Crafting Unforgettable Comics, featuring Geoff Johns, Jason Fabok, Chris Condon, Wes Craig, and Tyler Kirkham. Fans can also attend Top Cow 2026 and Beyond, The Future of Comics, and The New Wave of Comics Storytelling, Character & Talent, before the day concludes with Transformers and G.I. Joe: The Energon Universe is Unstoppable, featuring Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, Conor Hughes, and Sean Mackiewicz.
