Oni Preview: Rick and Morty: Lil’ Poopy Superstar #1

A new comic miniseries based on Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s hilarious [adult swim] animated show RICK AND MORTY? Oooo-wee, that sounds great!

Mr. Poopybutthole is in trouble, and he turns to the one person he can trust: Summer Smith! She’s more than willing to help, but is he telling her the whole truth? Written and illustrated by Sarah Graley (Our Super Adventure) and colored by Mildred Louis (Agents of the Realm), Summer and Mr. Poopybutthole embark on their very own fantastic adventure across space, complete with jailbreaks, hijackings, and high school prom. Plus! Backup comics featuring good ol’ Rick and Morty, illustrated by Marc Ellerby!

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly comics podcast!

Why We Love It:

It’s an ENTIRE mini-series starring Mr. Poopybutthole, the fan-favorite character from the RICK AND MORTY animated series, and the always badass Summer Smith!

It’s written and illustrated by the amazing Sarah Graley (Our Super Adventure) and colored by the fantastic Mildred Louis (Agents of the Realm).

It features back-up stories written by Sarah Graley and illustrated by RICK AND MORTY comic artist veteran Marc Ellerby.

Honestly, this is all you really need to see. If this doesn’t convince you, then you must have a heart of PURE DARKNESS AND HATE.
