Bayley is unable to compete at Summerslam, out with a separated shoulder

Two triple threat matches will determine the new #1 contender. to the Raw Women’s Championship.

Though fans of the Hugger were hoping it was something smaller she’d be able to fight through and appear on the second biggest card in WWE’s year, Bayley is officially too injured to compete in the event, WWE has confirmed. WWE delivered the news via a WWE.com/YouTube video, which you can see below:

Bayley was originally supposed to face WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at Summerslam for the title. With her out of the picture, WWE announced that tonight on Raw there will be two triple threat matches in the women’s division, the winners of which will go on to face each other next week to determine the new #1 contender for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Bayley will be on Raw tonight to address the situation in front of the crowd.
