The Revival’s Scott Dawson injured, Summerslam match in question

An injured right bicep may keep The Revival off ‘Summerslam.’

The Revival just can’t catch a break. Shortly after getting back in the swing of things following Dash Wilder’s fractured jaw that shelved the tag team for months, Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Scott Dawson has injured his right bicep and it may require surgery.

The injury appears to have occurred at a house show, as there was no obvious moment that it happened on Raw Dawson was seen with a heavily taped arm at a house show on Saturday.

It is possible that that injury will not require surgery, in which case he should be good to go in three to six weeks. This would mean The Revival’s match with the Hardy Boyz at Summerslam could still happen. If surgery is required though, Dawson will be out for several months. Hopefully it’s the former, as The Revival is one of the best tag teams on the company, and it’s hard to watch their push get stopped so many times due to forces outside their control.
