Jenji Kohan’s GLOW has been renewed for a second season by Netflix, the streaming network announced today.
The show, set in 1980s Los Angeles, is loosely based on the real-life Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling promotion. Starring Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin, GLOW chronicled Brie’s character Ruth’s life as a struggling actress who decides to get into the ring when offered a spot in the fledgling show’s roster.

Created by Jenji Kohan, better known for shows such as Weeds and fellow Netflix smash hit Orange is the New Black, GLOW was a hit with wrestling fans and non-fans alike. Though being a fan of pro wrestling was certainly not required to enjoy the show, wrestling fans enjoyed cameos from pro wrestlers such as John Morrison, Brodus Clay and Joey Ryan.
No date has been announced yet, but Netflix has confirmed the show will run for a ten episode season.
