Enchantress Casts Her Spell on Injustice 2 Next Week

The Suicide Squad villainess join the Injustice 2 roster.

Fans of Injustice 2, gather round and listen up. The release details for Injustice 2’s next DLC character have been revealed by game developer NetherRealm. Everyone’s favorite Suicide Squad villain The Enchantress, will be the next character made available.

Early access begins for anyone that purchased Fighter Pack #3 or the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition on Tuesday, January 9th. Everyone else will be able to pick up The Enchantress as a stand-alone purchase on January 16 for $5.99.

The Enchantress is the 37th character on the Injustice 2 roster. Atom, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Enchantress were all announced together for Fight Pack #3. As Atom arrived last month and The Enchantress arrives in January, players should expect to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sometime next month.

For those not familiar with the character, The Enchantress is a powerful magic user possessing a woman named June Moone. The Enchantress and Moone are constantly battling for control of the body they share, with Moone trying to use the magician’s powers for good.

In the gameplay trailer we can see the Suicide Squad villainess wielding various magical abilities – projectiles, magical parries and mind control. The highlight of course being the special move, which in this case is Deadshot getting his ass kicked by his own soul. It’s pretty awesome.

Injustice 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
