Ryan Reynolds exposes Deadpool’s Avengers rejection letter

“No. Go bother Professor X.”

Deadpool might have the distinguished honor of calling himself an Avenger in the comic book world but in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world isn’t ready for Earth’s Mightiest Merc with a Mouth. Ryan Reynolds shared this funny rejection letter from the Avengers/Stark Industries earlier today on social media:

Hey, at least Tony addressed him personally, even if he was telling our boy Wade to go kick rocks; that’s got to count for something, right?

Avengers: Infinity War is now in theaters (and to nobody’s surprise, already on its way to breaking records).

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 17th.
