Have you had enough Overwatch yet? I don’t think it is possible to get enough Overwatch. Ever since landing on platforms in May 2016, it has set the gaming world on fire! Have you been up late at night cursing out your TV because that one slick bastard using Genji just won’t go down? Well now Genji can take you down in another way as you step on him in Lego form at 2AM while trying to navigate your way to the bathroom! That’s right, LEGO and Hasbro announced today that they have signed a licensing agreement with Blizzard.
Hasbro will maintain a “master toy license” and release a wide range of entertainment for all you Overwatch lovers to gobble up including NERF products, games, and more. Look for Hasbro’s releases beginning in January 2019 when Overwatch blasters hit shelves in NERF form. The LEGO Group announced it would create multiple sets based on the game. No pictures just yet, but stay tuned for new updates.
Overwatch has been huge since the beginning. It even led to the creation of a new esports league, which will wrap its inaugural season up this summer. Players have yet to stray from the popular game as it has been consistent with updates, including new characters, maps, and events. The second-year anniversary even kicks off Tuesday and will go through June 11.
