Cuphead was one of the surprise hits of 2017, featuring charming, painstakingly hand-crafted visuals and an even more painstaking difficulty curve. The mixture of beautiful environments, smooth platforming and brutal difficulty made for a unique game that was hard to put down. Indie game developer StudioMDHR created one of the most rewarding experiences in all of gaming, and it came from a couple of anthropomorphic cups shooting balls of energy out of their fingers.
At today’s E3 press conference, Microsoft revealed that a new Cuphead experience is coming, dubbed The Delicious Last Course. The game will feature a whole new isle to explore, and Ms. Chalice, a new playable character.
The Delicious Last Course has no official release date quite yet, but it was revealed that the game will come out some time in 2019.
