E3 2018: New Spider-Man trailer introduces Electro, Rhino, and Scorpion

New trailer offers a closer look at combat, movement mechanics, and the game’s villains.

Keeping to their promise of showing off their big exclusives, Sony showed off even more Spider-Man gameplay from Insomniac’s upcoming web-slinging adventure.

The prison break sequence shown introduces some classic Spider-Man villains like Electro, Rhino, and Scorpion while giving a closer look at the game’s combat and movement mechanics. Oh, and there’s a slew of classic Spidery quips. See the trailer for yourself below.

The fighting looks to be similar to the Batman: Arkham games and traversal seemed to be fast and seamless. Gameplay was show at last year’s E3 making fans even more curious and a Game Informer cover story stoked excitement even more. With this new trailer, fans are champing at the bit to get their hands on this game.

Spider-Man releases exclusively on the Playstation 4 on September 7, 2018.
