Death Stranding Trailer Confuses and Impresses at E3

Did we finally learn what it’s about?

Hideo Kojima is one of the most renowned video game developers of all time. His Metal Gear Solid games are iconic and its characters are some of the most recognizable in gaming.

The series has never been accused of being of the easiest to understand, however. The story is incredibly hard to follow and can be even be difficult for die hard fans to explain.

Somehow, Kojima seems to have developed a game that has even more questions. Since its initial reveal at E3 2016, curious gamers have asked the same question: what is Death Stranding about?

Some questions may have been answered tonight at Sony’s E3 press conference. A somber eight minuet trailer was shown with Norman Reedus traveling through various environments. Stealth seems like it will be an important part of the game, but no combat was shown.

So what do we now know? Your character is running from-or possibly to-something. Babies are a food source. You might be able to get robot traveling companions. In other words, not much more.

The game certainly looks interesting but unfortunately no release date was announced.
