With the ‘Winds of Numa Sera’ tabletop Kickstarter now live, check out the OGN!

With the Winds of Numa Sera tabletop game live on Kickstarter, Dark Horse Comics has given AIPT the first chapter of the OGN its based on! This is the first-ever game based on a Dark Horse graphic novel created by Morgan Rosenblum & Jonny Handler.

In regards to the game, Rosenblum said “For the last five years, we’ve been working on creating this game, and knowing that we were relative newcomers to the gaming space, we made sure that we sought out industry experts to guide us in order to make a truly fun and memorable game.” Says Morgan Rosenblum. “Not only did we involve hundreds of gamers to playtest and provide valuable feedback, we also brought on other pro game creators and established publishers to help us further develop and refine it. Now we’re finally at a point where the game has been deemed ‘ready’ by all parties involved, and we couldn’t be more excited for people to get it to the table and see for themselves!”

Co-Creator Jonny Handler adds “As creators, our goal was to expand the universe of Ethera in a way that feels both familiar and novel. The Winds of Numa Sera tabletop game allows players to immerse themselves in the rich lore and the intricate politics of our world, offering a unique blend of strategy and storytelling. We are thrilled to see our vision come to life in this new format, and we can’t wait for fans to experience the adventure and depth of gameplay we’ve crafted.

Darkrose Co-Founder and producer Owen Rosenblum concludes “The great thing about this board game is that you don’t have to have read the Graphic Novel to enjoy playing it. But if you have read the Graphic Novel, it definitely enhances the experience!”

NEW YORK, NY– Today, the next chapter in the epic fantasy set in the lands of Ethera returned to the will of the people with an all-new Kickstarter campaign for the Winds of Numa Sera tabletop game! It’s fitting that this fantasy epic emerges again on the crowdfunding platform that initially brought the graphic novel introduction to this vast world to life with an all-new campaign and an all-new storytelling medium. The audience responded immediately, with the campaign doubling its initial goal in the first 30 minutes. The innovative and expansive saga of Winds of Numa Sera began as an original graphic novel under the guidance of premier publishing house, Dark Horse Comics, known for monumental creations like Mike Mignola’s Hellboy and Frank Miller’s Sin City, which have defined the comics landscape for nearly 40 years.

Co-writers Morgan Rosenblum and Jonny Handler take the innovative storytelling approach of bringing the second chapter in this rich lore from comics to games, creating a cross-platform experience like no other with an exclusive Kickstarter campaign!  Adapted and including the stunning art of Eduard Petrovich (X-MEN, Spider-Man), Filipe Andrade (The Many Deaths of Laila Starr), Eduardo Mello (Batman: Crack the Case), Alessio Moroni (Zombicide: Day One), and Valentina Taddeo (Star Wars Adventures), this new tabletop game brings the lush visual world of the graphic novel to both gamers and comic book fans, promising an immersive new chapter for all, with each a standalone storytelling experience to be enjoyed together or separately!

Co-Creator Morgan Rosenblum says “For the last five years, we’ve been working on creating this game, and knowing that we were relative newcomers to the gaming space, we made sure that we sought out industry experts to guide us in order to make a truly fun and memorable game.” Says Morgan Rosenblum. “Not only did we involve hundreds of gamers to playtest and provide valuable feedback, we also brought on other pro game creators and established publishers to help us further develop and refine it.
