The Bella Twins return to action on WWE Raw, defeat the Riott Squad

The Bellas are back.

The Bella Twins have been largely absent from Raw and SmackDown until very recently, as they have been busy giving birth, planning weddings, and starring in two reality shows. Brie has been involved in the Daniel Bryan/Miz storyline over on SmackDown for a couple weeks, and will team with her husband against Miz and his wife Maryse at Hell in a Cell, but besides appearances in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match, the Bella Twins haven’t been seen in in-ring action in quite some time.

That changed tonight when Nikki and Brie took on Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan of the Riott Squad on Raw, the first matchup for the two on the red brand in over three years. Though the two showed some ring rust, Nikki was impressive given how long the two have been away. There was a very scary moment when Brie attempted to pay homage to Daniel Bryan’s suicide dive, landing flat on her face, but she seemed to come away from it unscathed. Nikki in particular appeared as though she hadn’t lost a step (outside of an equally scary moment where it appeared as if she may have legitimately dislocated Sarah Logan’s arm).

In the end, the Bella Twins scored a victory against the Squad following a Rack Attack 2.0.

After the match, it was announced the Bella Twins will team with WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to take on the Riott Squad at the upcoming Australian mega-event, Super Show-Down.
