The Shield just got arrested on WWE Monday Night Raw

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are headed to the slammer after a wild brawl kicks off Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with a bang when The Shield — Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose — were arrested following a wild brawl.

In the opening segment to tonight’s edition, Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre came out to explain their actions last week. When The Shield had heard enough, they came down from the crowd and decided to take matters into their own hands. Acting General Manager Baron Corbin, who assumed the role after Kurt Angle was sent on a vacation of indeterminate length by Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, sent out the Raw roster to contain the fight.

As we came back from commercial, The Shield were all handcuffed and being shoved into a van by local police:

Raw promises more surprises tonight, as the Bella Twins making their return to action on the show for the first time in years, and Shawn Michaels will appear to give his thoughts on the upcoming Triple H/Undertaker matchup at WWE Super Show-Down.

UPDATE: Later on in the evening, The Shield reappeared during the main event, only to be completely destroyed by nearly every heel aligned member of the Raw roster.
