Politics and comics go hand in hand be it presidents showing up in comic books, or presidents remarking on loving comics growing up. It turns out one of the hottest democrats to enter Congress may be a big fan of comics too. In a recent tweet Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez quoted Alan Moore’s Watchmen. Check it out below:

The fact that she name drops Alan Moore shows it’s not the movie she’s thinking of too from this famous scene:
The scene Ocasio-Cortez is referencing occurs in Watchmen #6 and starts with a man giving Rorschach trouble.
Later his psychologist is reflecting on something he said.
It appears Ocasio-Cortez is well read at least when it comes to one of the greatest graphic novels of all time.
