Moretz is quickly becoming the next scream queen, sporting quite the impressive horror resume that includes Let Me In, Carrie, Greta, and most recently, Suspiria. The upcoming film will follow Moretz aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress in the role of Captain Maude Gardner, who guards a black radio bag with “top- secret contents.”

“As she puts up with jeers from the leery, all-male crew, strange happenings begin to occur and they realize that something is lurking within the shadows.” per THR. “Crushed between an oncoming Japanese ambush and an evil prowling within, Maude must push her limits to save the hapless crew and to protect her mysterious cargo.”

At this time Shadow in the Cloud does not have a release date.
