Find out who Arkham Knight really is in Detective Comics #1003

Who is the Arkham Knight? We kind of sort of find out.

Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned. For more read our review.

It’s no secret the last issue of Detective Comics literally unmasked the Arkham Knight on the very last page. Looking on was Damian Wayne, a captive of the Arkham Knight, and boy did he look surprised. It turns out, his surprise might be because he has no idea who the Arkham Knight is!

On the second page of Detective Comics #1003, out today, we learn the Arkham Knight is a blonde woman with blue eyes.

Hmmm, who could she be? We don’t get a name in this scene, but we do know her general age.

And the fact that Batman seems to think he knows her, but can’t place it yet.

That is until a character pops up who tells them everything.

So we know her name is Astrid Arkham and therefore related to the Arkham family. Does that make this man Jeremiah Arkham? Probably not, Jeremiah is older and also Black Mask, but maybe this is a son of his? That’d make Astrid the right age, at least. We’re bound to find out more about this man and Astrid in the next issue.

What do you think, is this a shocking reveal? Why does Astrid want to take down Batman? We’ll have to keep reading to find out.

This is only part of the story. I highly recommend you read the whole thing!
