AEW Double or Nothing currently scheduled to stream on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook [Updated]

Will AEW be free to stream?

Update: TheWrap has amended their story to note that only the pre-show will be streamed on social media platforms, with the following statement: “Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story listed YouTube, Twitter and Facebook as streaming options for the “Double or Nothing” event. Those platforms are for specific pre-show events. TheWrap regrets the error.”

Our original story is below:

In addition to new details about All Elite Wrestling’s weekly television show, TheWrap is reporting that the company’s upcoming first supercard event, Double or Nothing, is set to stream on social media platforms. It was previously unknown how anybody outside of the United Kingdom would be able to view the show, which is set to happen Saturday, May 25th from Paradise, Nevada.

“Currently, that show is set to stream on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, and will be available as a pay-per-view purchase in the UK via ITV Box Office,” says TheWrap.

This is big news and could be a boon for exposing the product to as many people as possible, in stark contrast to the previous rumor that the event would only be offered via pay-per-view for $59.99.

Double or Nothing will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise Nevada, and will feature Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega and Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes, among several other intriguing matchups.
