The deal between AEW and TNT, reported last week to be a “virtually done” deal, is official. All Elite Wrestling released a press statement via their Twitter, and TNT confirmed the news with a graphic on their own Twitter.

The press release also confirms that Double or Nothing will be available via pay-per-view and WarnerMedia’s B/R Live service.
“Wrestling fans have wanted — and needed — something different, authentic and better for far too long,” Tony Khan, President and CEO of AEW, is quoted as saying in the press release. “AEW is answering the call.”
B/R Live, which is WarnerMedia’s streaming sports option, will be AEW’s “exclusive digital streaming partner in the United States” for Double or Nothing. It will also air the event’s pre-show, now dubbed The Buy-In. The Buy-In will also be available on social media platforms.
WarnerMedia, and TNT especially, has stayed away from professional wrestling ever since their relationship with World Championship Wrestling soured in the late ’90s, which preceded the promotion’s demise in 2001. Since then, Vince McMahon’s WWE has enjoyed an effective monopoly in nationally televised pro wrestling in the United States.
Double or Nothing will take place Saturday, May 25th, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
