Logo for upcoming Christopher Nolan film ‘Tenet’ revealed; is the movie a spiritual successor or sequel to ‘Inception’?

Details emerge surrounding Christopher Nolan’s secretive new film, Tenet, thanks to an IG post from the composer.

A visit to the Instagram page of Ludwig Goransson, the Swedish composer whose work on the soundtrack of Black Panther earned him an Academy Award for Best Original Score became one of the most revelatory experiences for Christopher Nolan’s surreptitious upcoming film, recently entitled Tenet, yet late Wednesday night:

Does that logo look a little familiar? It should. The font is the exact same one used for Nolan’s 2010 Academy Award-winning science fiction action film Inception:

Could Tenet be a spiritual successor to Inception? Or at the very least, take place in the same universe? Not much, if anything is known yet about the film’s narrative, but the exact same logo being used for both films can’t be a mere coincidence or lackadaisical placeholder, can it?

Tenet, whose tentative cast already includes the likes of Michael Caine, John David Washington, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson (whose name was recently attached to Matt Reeves’ The Batman) is slated for a July 17, 2020 release date and will be an “action epic evolving from the world of international espionage” and designed specifically for IMAX theaters, according to Warner Bros. Studios. The aforementioned Goransson is the film’s composer. More news on Tenet as it becomes available.

Do you think the identical logos for Tenet and Inception has some obvious significance? Let us know in the comments.
