DC announces slew of DC Ink graphic novels at BookCon, including ‘Teen Titans: Raven’

DC’s young adult line, DC Ink, is getting several exciting new titles.

One of the best things about comics is their ongoing, serialized nature. It’s great seeing characters grow and evolve over time and it can be very rewarding sticking with a series, seeing not only how this occurs, but also where the story takes them.

But sometimes it’s nice to know a story will be confined to a certain length, rather than continuing beyond that. It looks like that’s what you’ll get from DC Ink, DC’s recent young adult line, which has already released books like Batman: Nightwalker and Mera: Tidebreaker. This is set to continue next month, with Teen Titans: Raven out July 2nd.

Raven is written by Kami Garcia and illustrated by Gabriel Picolo, with a trailer unveiled at BookCon 2019. Check it out below:

Garcia and Picolo are reuniting on Teen Titans: Beast Boy, which is set for release in spring 2020. There’ll be a sneak preview of it in Raven, only adding to reasons to give the book a go. Joining the emerald-hued teen next Spring are Gotham HighShadow of the Batgirl, The Lost Carnival: A Dick Grayson Graphic Novel and The Oracle Code.

The Oracle Code is by Marieke Nijkamp and Manuel Pretaino. Gotham High is by Melissa de la Cruz and Thomas Pitilli, while Shadow of the Batgirl is by Sarah Kuhn and Nicole Goux. The Lost Carnival: A Dick Grayson Graphic Novel is by Michael Moreci and Sas Milledge.

Along with the news about Teen Titans: Beast Boythe above artists were revealed at BookCon. As well as that, we also got to see the covers for the 2020 GNs. Here’s the rather entrancing cover for The Lost Carnival:
