Adventures in Movies! Episode 22: Queer Horror Movies

The three talk queer horror movies.

Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel continue celebrating Pride Month with a talk about queer horror movies. Everyone knows about Nightmare on Elm Street 2, but what other movies do the guys talk about? Plus, Danny gets an inspiration for a Halloween costume.

It was a slow week for movies, but the guys still manage to get in plenty of Keanu Reeves talk. Obviously, it’s breathtaking, but it also covers time travel, comedy, and politics.

The guys talk about what they watched the previous week. Danny and Nathaniel talk about how unsurprisingly great Big Little Lies is. Nathaniel continues his search for the best movie of the first half of the year, Danny cries again, and Blake dishes The Dirt. This all leads into how a conversation into how underrated 1980s hair metal is.

The trio then get into queer horror movies. Of course, they talk about Nightmare on Elm Street 2 but they also debate the merit of the lesbian vampire boom of the 1970s, Let the Right One In, and even get into true crime.

Amazon Prime Video has an entire page dedicated to Pride Month that can be found here. The page includes Prime exclusives and must see LGBTQ+ films.
