Adventures in Movies! Episode 95: ‘Run’ review & movies that gross us out

‘Run’ & the charm of the gross out.

We all have our Thanksgiving traditions. Some of us watch football while others end up arguing with our family. One thing everybody does is eat so much they feel gross. This week Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel look at the films and scenes that gross them out the most.

The show starts with talk about Ari Aster’s next movie Beau is Afraid. The casting of Joaquin Phoenix is certainly exciting news, but the guys talk about the things that worry them. This also leads into a talk about Adam Sandler.

This week on Adventures in Movies Looks at… the three discuss the record breaking Hulu hit Run. The guys talk about Sarah Paulson’s place in horror, what it means to be Hitchcockian, and the importance of strong leads.

This week’s main segment is about the movies and scenes and gross the guys out the most. The subject is absolutely disgusting, yet you will be surprised by what you hear. Nathaniel talks about why eating feces is more funny than gross, Danny talks about his disgust of eating, and Blake lists the disgusting movies you have to see.
