Watch: Trailer for Jumanji 3

Jumanji 3: The Next Level is set to release on December 13, 2019.

The original Jumanji is one of Robin Williams’s more beloved films. The 1995 fantasy adventure movie is about a boy who gets trapped inside the titular board game. While the movie was not a critical darling, it ended up being a box office success.

Over two decades later, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was released starring Dwayne Johnson. This time four friends are trapped in a video game. The movie fared better critically and ended 2017 as one of the top grossing movies of the year.

Jumanji: The Next Level  brings back much of the same cast. The latest entry will also feature appearances from Danny Glover and Danny DeVito.

The third installment is a continuation of Welcome to the Jungle. Unbeknownst to the rest of his friends, Spencer kept the pieces of the video game. Predictably, this leads to trouble for everyone.

Jumanji: The Next Level is scheduled to be released December 13, 2019.
