Mitch Gerads and Tom King are flying high after a huge Eisner Awards ceremony, coming away with six awards total — four for Mister Miracle alone. It’s part of why everyone is buzzing about what they’ll work on next. In fact, Gerads said if they do well at the Eisners, they’ll announce their next collaboration, which Twitter user @agentfitz777 pointed out. Fitz was right, as DC Comics and Mitch Gerads tweeted Sunday morning the next book they’ll be creating together with Doc Shaner.
The title is called Strange Adventures, which was originally a 1950s comic series which has had iterations appear for decades. The series’ last appearance was in 2011 in the Vertigo 80-page anthology.

Strange Adventures will debut some time in 2020, and judging by the covers there’s a dark underbelly to be explored with the title character.
