This weekend NXT in is the land of maple syrup to treat the fans of Toronto, Canada to some of the best wrestling on the planet with their latest PPV — NXT TakeOver Toronto.
As expected, every match entertained and there was a lot of crazy spots, amazing moves and back and forth sequences of some incredibly brutal wrestling. We have the results from those matches for you below.
- Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins (c) defeat Undisputed Era – Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish via pinfall in their first PPV title defense
- Candice LeRae falls to Io Shirai via KO
- Matt Riddle and Killian Dain never actually began their match. The pair brawled around the outside of the ring before both going through a table.
- Velveteen Dream (c) defeats Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong to retain his North American Championship
- Shayna Baszler (c) defeats Mia Yim via a triangle hold submission to extend her long reign as NXT Women’s Champion
- Adam Cole defeats Johnny Gargano in a 2 out of 3 falls match to retain his NXT Championship
