I’ve got good news! Those blu-rays you like are back in style. Once again, David Lynch has found a way to take my money. In 2014, Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery was released. That may have been true at the time, as it contained the original series, including the international pilot, Fire Walk With Me, and it’s Missing Pieces. Then in May 2017, Twin Peaks: The Return premiered on Showtime, prompting the release of Twin Peaks: A Limited Series Event. Now a new blu-ray set, containing everything will be released in time for this year’s holiday season.
Twin Peaks: From Z to A comes in a cubed package, with the red drapes and familiar flooring of the black lodge inside. In addition to the aesthetics of the package, it contains every episode from the original series and every part from the third season. It also contains Fire Walk With Me and the Missing Pieces component.
New content has also been added such as interviews with Kyle Maclachlan and Sheryl Lee. There will also be footage of Lynch directing and talks with Harry Goaz and Kimmy Robertson. There will also be a 4K UHD disc with high def transfers of the original pilots and one of the most interesting and haunting things to ever appear on television, episode 8 of season 3.
You can pre-order your own copy of Twin Peaks: From Z to A, which will be available on December 10th. Or if you don’t want everything Twin Peaks and just most of it, you can order Twin Peaks: The Television Collection which will be available October 15th.
