Disney+ provides fans the first poster for Star Wars: The Mandalorian

The series’ official poster is released ahead of D23.

The first poster for Disney+’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, has been released by Disney and Lucasfilm. Disney’s yearly D23 fan-expo begins Friday and the poster’s release arrives in anticipation for The Mandalorian’s panel at the event.

The series stars Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal in the lead role as a lone gun toting bounty hunter on the edge of galaxy in the period following the fall of the Empire in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and before the rise of the First Order in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Jon Favreau wears several hat as series showrunner, creator, writer and executive producer. Also in the role of executive producer is Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson.

Disney+ launches November 12 with The Mandalorian as its first live-action series. The streaming service will feature a robust library including all of the Star Wars films and television series, as well as content from Marvel Studios, Pixar and a slew of new original programming.
