A troupe of new dragons isn’t the only new feature landing in newly announced Hearthstone expansion Descent of Dragons — a brand-new eight-player experience, Battlegrounds, is also on its way.
Battlegrounds looks to draws influence from the surging popularity in AutoChess battlers like League of Legends‘s Teamfight Tactics. The game mode will be free with the next expansion and feature an MMR and matchmaking system, according to Principal Game Designer, Mike Donais.
