Oney Lorcan requests WWE release

Throw ’em up ☝️☝️

205 Live and NXT Superstar Oney Lorcan has requested to be released from his WWE contract, according to PWInsider.

This is the latest in a long line of wrestlers under WWE contract to request their release from the company. An absolutely massive roster means many Superstars are underutilized, and many who are regularly on television are unhappy with how they have been used.

Before WWE, Oney Lorcan competed as Biff Busick in EVOLVE, PWG, and CZW — where he is a former World Champion — among other promotions. He formed a tag team with Danny Burch in NXT last year, and of late has been vying for the Cruiserweight Championship on 205 Live. In recent days, he has changed his name on Twitter back to “Biff Busick.”

Best of luck to Lorcan. Stay tuned on AIPT for more information on his career moves as they develop.
