WWE Worlds Collide tickets sale date announced

NXT faces off against NXT UK during Royal Rumble.

For the second year running WWE will host the Worlds Collide WWE Network special. This year’s event pits NXT against NXT UK on Royal Rumble weekend at Houston’s Toyota Center on Jan. 25, 2020

Last year’s event featured a 15-man tournament between wrestlers equally divided from the NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live rosters. Fan-favorite NXT wrestler Velveteen Dream won the tournament, earning the opportunity to compete for a championship on any of the three brands. Dream went on to face Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship.

This year’s event will feature both the men and women of NXT and NXT UK. WWE tells us that featured talent includes: NXT Champion Adam Cole, WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray, The Undisputed ERA, Imperium and more.

There’s no word on whether or not this year’s event will follow the same format as last year’s with regard to the tournament structure. But since 205 Live isn’t competing and the women’s division is, it’s safe to safe all bets are off.

Tickets fwill be available at NXTTickets.com starting next Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
