Lana issues statement following her release from a Nashville jail

Lana was arrested live on Monday night Raw.

This week on Monday Night Raw in Nashville, Tennessee, Lana and her boyfriend Bobby Lashley arrived with two police officers in tow to serve as protection in the event that Lana’s estranged husband, Rusev, defied the restraining order against him and appeared. The police officers ended up making an arrest, but it wasn’t Rusev walking away in cuffs, it was the two people they were assigned to “protect.”

As expected, Rusev defied the restraining order placed against him by Lana and attacked Lashley on Monday Night Raw. For reasons no one will probably ever understand, the officers decided to give The Bulgarian Brute a pass, thus ignoring the law and their duty.

As Lashley was exiting the ring area he appeared to shoulder-check one of the officers, which resulted in him being thrown in cuffs. While the officers were escorting him out, Lana angrily confronted them and slapped one of the officers, which in turn led to her being arrested as well.

Lana and Lashley were released from Nashville jail this morning. The ravishing Russian made the following statement:

“How can I be arrested by an off-duty police officer, hired by me, to protect myself?”

What’s next for this roller coaster love triangle? Perhaps Maury Povich or Jerry Springer can resolve these extreme marital disputes. Time will tell.
