WWE files trademarks for several old WCW and ECW PPV names

The hornet’s nest has definitely been kicked.

WWE went on a shopping spree for trademarks this week by filing for a large number of former WCW and ECW PPV names.

This new was first reported by PWInsider.

The following trademarks were filed for by WWE on Dec. 6, 2019.

  • FULLY LOADED
  • LIVING DANGEROUSLY
  • HEAT WAVE
  • ANARCHY RULZ
  • WORLD WAR 3
  • CHI-TOWN RUMBLE
  • SIN
  • SOULED OUT
  • NEW BLOOD RISING
  • HOG WILD
  • CAPITAL COMBAT
  • ROAD WILD
  • GREED
  • UNCENSORED
  • SPRING STAMPEDE
  • THE DAY OF
  • MAYHEM
  • BEACH BLAST
  • MASSACRE ON 34TH STREET
  • HARDCORE HEAVEN

This comes in the wake of Cody Rhodes successfully filing for a number of old WCW trademarks, many that his late father, Dusty Rhodes, had a hand in creating. Rhodes recently secure the “Bash at the Beach” trademark, and has the following live trademarks:

  • SuperBrawl
  • Slamboree
  • The Match Beyond
  • Bash at the Beach
  • Dusty Rhodes
  • The American Nightmare
  • The Prince of Wrestling
  • Bunkhouse Stampede
  • Battlebowl
  • The American Dream
